Emmanuel Sekor

Emmanuel Sekor is a highly experienced energy lawyer with over 39 years of expertise in infrastructure regulation, power markets, and energy policy across Ghana and the wider African region.

He is a former Board Member of the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC), Ghana, and previously served as Director of the Bureau of Legal Services at the Commission. He has also been a longstanding member of the Technical Committee of the Energy Commission, Ghana, playing a key role in Ghana’s power sector reforms and regulatory development.

At Arthur Energy Africa, Emmanuel provides strategic legal and regulatory advisory on energy projects, including renewable energy policy, utility regulation, and cross-border power initiatives.

He holds an LL.M. in Natural Resources and Environmental Law from the University of Denver and an LL.B. from the University of Ghana and is a Barrister-at-Law of the Ghana Law School.
