PURC engaged MRC Consultants, with Arthur Energy Advisors (AEA) as subcontractor, to conduct quantitative research estimating the Value of Load (VoLL) for all customer categories across Ghana’s distribution and transmission networks, supporting efficient utility operation through appropriate allocation of rewards and penalties.

AEA’s responsibilities included coordinating tasks and stakeholder meetings, representing project activities and findings in discussions, supporting data collection and compilation for the VoLL databook/model, and overseeing survey activities by monitoring and following up with the service provider.
