CATF engaged AEA to provide professional support under its Energy and Climate Innovation (ECI) programme in West Africa’s power sector. This includes supporting the “Ensuring Financial Sustainability of Utilities” session at the Africa Energy Conference and partnering with the West African Power Pool (WAPP) to deliver a Utility Roundtable Series.

Under this partnership, AEA facilitates and defines engagement options for CATF with West African utilities, serves as liaison between WAPP and CATF to secure partnership agreements and scope alignment, and organizes and facilitates roundtable events with utilities.
